Winter Solstice from Stiperstones.

A nice family walk up Stiperstones to see the Devils Chair on the Winter Solstice.
Legend has it that all the ghosts, ghouls and witches have their annual meeting on the Devils Chair on the Solstice.
To be on the safe side, we viewed from afar! Fortunately, nothing other-worldly was spotted!

Monday draws to an end…..

Having had a Birthday meal in Wentnor, the views were stunning on the way home, as the sun started to dip in the Shropshire Hills last night. Stiperstones, the Bromlow Callow and the Long Mountain were all bathed in beautiful light.

Phantoms, ghosts and witches on Mitchell’s Fold.

This phantom photographer seems to be haunting me across the County. In particular, it has a fascination with the stone witch “Meg” on Mitchell’s Fold.
